Awesome Abundance tahnks www.bantjes.com

It’s the month of the heart (again) and it can be tough for  OFW wives like us.

On hubby’s first year as an OFW, I had a hard time adjusting during special occasions and valentine was one of those special moments.

This year, I decided not to be sad and instead be productive.

One of the best ways to divert our attention is to seek out activities or events that will allow us to mingle with lots of people and at the same time, teach us things on how to become a better OFW wife or parent.

Here are six unique ways on how to have a meaningful valentine month:

1.  Attend Cashflow 101

On Sunday, February 22, 2010, grab the chance to widen your financial mindset as Laurus Enterprises hosts its monthly Cashflow 101 event.  You will have the chance to play Robert Kiyosaki’s board game for only P 1,000.00.  Rich Dad principles will be explained as you play.

I wonder how long will it take an OFW wife to get out of the rat race?  Find out  by texting:  0917-840-8880 or 0917-521-9387.

2.  Be Part of an Exciting Fun Run

Come February 20, 2010, Ka Edong invites everyone to the Most Rewarding Fun Run ever!  This is perfect for first time runners (like moi!)!  Register for only P 450 and be one of paid early birds to get P2,500 worth of L’Occitane skin care gift packs (while supply lasts!)

Treat this as your gift for your health and beauty. Come and register at www.runnersrunner.com

3.  Meet your biz mentors at the monthly networking party of N.E.W.

The Network for Enterprising Women hosts its monthly networking party on February 26, 2010 at Kape Isla in Serendra.  Get the chance to interact with women business mentors and learn how we can prosper even in times of recession.

4.  Learn how you can earn in Internet Marketing

Jomar Hilario will have a two-day hands on workshop on February 26-27, 2010 in Cubao.  You will come out from the workshop with a newly-created blog!

Blog your way to dollars and to learn more about this, email: jomar.hilario@gmail.com or visit  www.jomarhilario.com/2010/02/detail-of-manila-2-hour-workshop-in.html

5.  Hug your kids

My kids are all so grown up and taller than the refrigerator!  How about your OFW kids? Nevertheless, let us keep on hugging our kids ALWAYS!

They are the reason why we allowed our hubbies to seek greener pastures.

6.  Celebrate kindness of friends

Even if our hubbies are not around, we continue to be blessed by friendships.

I’m being blessed with better relationships with officemates! Special occasions come and go unnoticed in our department, this was perhaps due to the length of time we’ve all been together that we took each other for granted.

The other day, I arrived in the office finding this surprise on my table …

How sweet!  My new officemate brings sparks of joy in our unit!  She is someone to cherish and the experience of receiving gifts from friends is worth celebrating!

There you have it! There’s no time to mope around for we have 6 meaningful ways to celebrate the valentine month!

Enjoy Awesome Abundance,

Jones
