Bird of Paradise With its trademark bowtie and heart-shaped feather on its head, a Bird of Paradise commands RESPECT at first glance. When agitated, its bowtie spins and the BOP flaps its foot excitedly. They are curious creatures and like to stand precariously on rocks. First seen in chapter 1, page 19 |

Bats What? They’re just bats. Okay, maybe they resemble piggies just a LITTLE BIT. But they are bats for the most part. Just really sleepy — that’s all. Their feet? I’m sure they’re around somewhere… First seen in chapter 1, page 22 |
