Despite being born and raised in Philadelphia, Mike is a lifelong Yankees fan. His passion for the Bronx Bombers was born out of his Grandfather’s love of Joe DiMaggio. Growing up, this passion was nurtured by many trips to Yankee Stadium with his Uncle, who taught him all about the history of the team. Though he is not a native New Yorker, Mike has always felt most at home when in the Bronx. While he knows that statistics are of utmost importance to the game, he also belives that the game has a heartbeat. His style brings that pulse, as well as his passion, to the reader.
