Lilian announces D-Bry to the ring. He comes out with AJ in tow. AJ in a very cropped tank and tight gray skinny jeans. Stills from Sheamus attacking D-Bry after the Elimination Chamber Sunday. D-Bry clears his throat on mic. He says in July when he win the MITB contract and said he was going to main event WrestleMania, not a single person that believed him. Yet here he stands as our World Heavyweight Champion! And, he’s heading to the main event of WrestleMania! D-Bry says Santino was trying to channel Rocky Balboa going into Elimination Chamber, but D-Bry’s a role model, the real Rocky story. Santino, Khali, Cody, Wade – ‘What?’ between each name – Big Show. He beat them all! We want Rocky? “Yo AJ, I did it!” Yes, yes, yes! But, as he was celebrating, physically spent after defeating five other men in the most brutal match ever constructed… “CM Punk!” chants fill the arena. It was ruined. His moment was ruined by Sheamus. No pop for Sheamus. Now it’s his turn. He’s going to ruin Sheamus’ moment at WrestleMania. He’ll show Sheamus and everyone over the world that he’ll be victorious. Just like tonight, he’ll be victorious over Punk. Heat for that. We want to talk about the best in the…

“Awesome!” Miz’s music hit and he comes out with a smirk on his face. Miz and his ego climbs in the ring. Miz says to look at D-Bry, the World Heavyweight Champion. Who’a thunk it? D-Bry was wrong, so wrong. He wasn’t the only one to believe he’d becomes a World Champion. Miz mentored him to become Champ. From that first day, Miz knew he had the skill, determination and temperament to become Champion. He’s not out there asking for thanks, or steal his spotlight. He’s there to congratulate him for being in the main event of WrestleMania, like Miz did last year. As he continues in Miz’s footsteps, and embarrass Sheamus at WrestleMania, he thinks they should form a tag team. Not like any other tag team…

Sheamus cuts Miz off. Sheamus to the ring with a smile on his face. Sheamus takes Miz’s mic. Sheamus congratulates D-Bry on being a massive arse. On being a hypocrite. He’s no role model, just a coward. He’d rather hide behind a woman’s skirt than be a man. Also, would like to congratulate D-Bry for hanging out with someone almost as conceited as D-Bry – meaning Miz. Good job. The thing is, when WrestleMania is over, no one will congratulate D-Bry. Hey’ll say he got exactly what he deserved.

Miz says Sheamus deserves to be taken down a notch or two. How dare Sheamus come out there and take the thunder of the World Heavyweight Champion? Sheamus asks Miz to do him a favor, let the lad who actually has a match at WrestleMania talk, eh? Sheamus turns back to D-Bry who bitch slaps Sheamus. D-Bry flees and Miz attacks. Sheamus takes Miz out and sends him over the top. Sheamus looks up to see D-Bry on the stage holding AJ’s hand. AJ looks scared.

Sheamus vs Miz

Sheamus with Miz’s arm wrenched and a knee on Miz’s head. Miz to his feet and kicks out. Sheamus telegraphs and gets kicked, but Miz over the top. He lands on the apron but gets Sheamus’ ten forearms to his chest. Miz falls to the floor. Sheamus out and kicks Miz while he’s down. Miz sent into the ring, gets a shoulder block through the ropes, then Sheamus over the top rope with a shoulder block for long two. Miz hangs Sheamus’ arm and shoulder up top. Miz back into the ring and eats a shoulder block. Upper cut to Miz, then whipped, but Miz moves and Sheamus took the post shoulder first and rather hard.

Miz out and sends Sheamus back into the ring. Blocked clothesline, then Miz works Sheamus’ arm. “Let’s go Sheamus!” chants. Sheamus eats Miz’s foot, then blows in a corner. Miz hits his corner clothesline, then climbs. Double axe handle to Sheamus’ head, then a boot to a kneeling Sheamus’ face. Miz on Sheamus’ left arm with a hold. Sheamus free, but Miz kicks at Sheamus over and over. Sheamus comes back with double hand clotheslines to Miz, then one in a corner. Back breaker on Miz for two. Miz whipped, but gets an elbow up. Miz’s back/neck breaker moves for two. Miz sets up for the SCF, but Sheamus elbows Miz to the face, then an arm drag. Miz ducks the brogue kick. Miz tried to fight back, but Sheamus hit his new finisher for three.

Winner – Sheamus

Sheamus celebrates. Video of the high points of the match, including the finisher. Bokoer says Miz got put to sleep – wrong wrestler’s finisher! Sheamus celebrates more.

Sheamus vs Mark Henry

Justin announces Sheamus with his Royal Rumble Match win and how he’s facing D-Bry at WrestleMania. Henry out looking cranky, as usual.

They lock up, Sheamus backed into a corner, Henry pulled back. Blows on Sheamus, but he gets free. Blows to Sheamus, then into a clothesline. Henry shakes his head, pissed. Chop block, then high knee to Henry. Sheamus whipped, but gets his feet up. Sheamus up and hits a flying shoulder for two. Forearms to Henry through the ropes, but Henry fights back. Big blow to Sheamus’ upper back.

Sheamus whipped, then clotheslined in the corner. Shoulder blocks to Sheamus in the corner. Sheamus ducks a blow and on Henry in the corner. Back and forth, then Sheamus really on Henry with blows. Fans cheer for Sheamus as the ref checks Henry. Brogue kick is missed, then Henry sets up for the world’s strongest slam, but Sheamus gets free and hits his brogue kick for three.

Winner – Sheamus

WrestleMania XXVIII Preview: Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan

As he’s done repeatedly over the course of his World Heavyweight Championship reign, Daniel Bryan once again found a way to walk out of a WWE arena with his title in hand Sunday night at WWE Elimination Chamber. In a sadistic stipulation where the odds of winning are 6-to-1 for each of the competitors involved and only get worse if competitors enter the Elimination Chamber sooner, the submission specialist overcame The Great Khali, Cody Rhodes, Wade Barrett, Big Show and Santino Marella to retain his title and send him on a collision course with Royal Rumble winner Sheamus at WrestleMania XXVIII.

After the brutal Elimination Chamber Match ended, Sheamus — who is guaranteed the title opportunity of his choosing at The Show of Shows thanks to his Royal Rumble Match victory — arrived and delivered an emphatic message to Daniel Bryan. With a punishing maneuver that slammed the champion to the mat, Sheamus ended all speculation as to what title he has in his sights come WrestleMania.

And following the events of Feb. 17’s explosive SmackDown where the World Heavyweight Champion spit directly in The Great White’s face, a Sheamus-Bryan title match on The Grandest Stage of Them All possesses special intrigue.

But this rivalry has deeply seeded roots, as just one year ago The Celtic Warrior defeated Bryan to win the United States Championship. That bout proved crucial in Sheamus’ career, as not only did he claim the U.S. Title for the first time, but the win snapped a losing streak that dated back to King of the Ring months earlier. Further, before entering the match, Sheamus vowed that if he didn’t defeat the submission specialist, he would quit WWE.

That didn’t happen, and these days the two-time WWE Champion seems almost invincible and is focused once again on Daniel Bryan and a prize that has eluded him thus far in his career — the World Heavyweight Championship.

The events of the Feb. 17 episode of SmackDown played a crucial part in setting all this into motion. That night, Bryan’s forfeit “victory” over Randy Orton — who was unable to compete due to a concussion — led to a surprise announcement.

After Bryan demanded ring announcer Lilian Garcia to proclaim him the winner of the non-match against WWE’s Apex Predator, SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long entered the arena. To the great delight of the WWE Universe, Long scheduled Bryan to compete that night against none other than The Great White Sheamus.

A despondent Bryan did his best to avoid the Celtic Warrior, but when Bryan tried to escape the ring, satisfied with a count-out victory, Sheamus was there to thwart the champion’s oft-played tactic. Back inside the ring, however, Bryan dug deep into his bag of tricks, playing mind games on his opponent and exploiting The Great White’s white-hot temper. When literally backed into the corner, Bryan slapped Sheamus, clearly riling his opponent.

What happened next proved to be one of Bryan’s vilest moves to date. While seated on the top rope, Bryan spit in the face of The Great White, inciting Sheamus’ fury and leading to The Celtic Warrior’s disqualification. Officially, Bryan was able to add yet another victory to an already impressive list.

While a number of those victories have been controversial, Bryan’s record since cashing in Money in the Bank cannot be argued. He continually finds ways to win, successfully defending his title against all challengers over the course of his championship reign. But will Sheamus, one of the hottest Superstars on the roster and already possessing a big victory against Bryan, finally end that reign?

Last year, the scheduled U.S. Title rematch between Sheamus and Bryan was bumped from the WrestleMania pay-per-view and was witnessed only by the WWE Universe in attendance and those who purchased the home video. This year, the two will share the main event spotlight with the World Heavyweight Championship on the line. Find out who walks out of Miami as the champion April 1 at WrestleMania XXVIII, only on pay-per-view!

WINNER AND STILL World Heavyweight Champion: Daniel Bryan

Bryan celebrates with his title in the ring. Sheamus’ music hits, and the Irishman makes his way out to the ring. Bryan begs off, but goes for a kick. Sheamus stops him, and grabs him by the throat. Sheamus shoulders Bryan, and drops him with an air raid crash. Sheamus’ music hits, and he’s apparently made his intentions clear as to who he’s like to face at WrestleMania. Sheamus makes his way to the back, and it looks like the match that wasn’t even allowed to happen on the preshow at WM last year, will be one of the main events.

The Great White let his temper get the best of him on SmackDown. During his match against Daniel Bryan, the World Heavyweight Champion spit in Sheamus’ face, setting him off to the point where the referee could not restrain him, giving Bryan a disqualification win.
