Angle and Storm started the match and traded control several times back and forth. Both men tagged out and the show went to break.

Jeff Hardy hit Bully Ray with Whisper in the Wind for a near fall. Kurt Angle grabbed Hardy’s leg from the outside and pulled his crotch into the steel post. Bully Ray and Angle took turns attacking Hardy. Eventually, Hardy got the hot tag to Storm, who quickly turned the match in his favor. Storm hit Ray with several knees, but Angle ran in and took him out with a belly-to-belly suplex. Hardy took out Angle, only to eat a big boot from Ray.

Angle and Ray went for a table, but Hardy dropkicked the table into their faces. The teams battled over who would set the table up in the ring. Storm caught Angle with a Last Call. Bully Ray attacked Storm, and Brandon Jacobs entered the ring. Ray and Jacobs got in a three point stance, but Storm slapped Bully Ray. Sting is backstage telling James Storm and Bully Ray that they’re all pissed off, they both got cheated last time they were in the ring with Roode, so maybe they ought to wrestle tonight. Bully Ray says this match shouldn’t be happening because he should be the champion right now, but Storm says he’s the #1 contender and he’ll prove that tonight.

James Storm cuts a heated promo backstage, punches a hole in the wall, and says that there’s only one man who can be the #1 contender and he’ll prove that it’s him tonight.

#1 Contender’s Match: Bully Ray vs James Storm

They tie up and Storm takes Bubba to the ropes and gives him a playful shove to the head that wasn’t really playful. Now Bubba takes Storm to the corner and tries a cheapshot, but Storm ducks under him and starts unloading with right hands and kicks to the midsection. Storm whips him across the ring and follows in with a clothesline in the corner. Storm tries to go after Bubba’s arm, but Bubba picks his leg and drops a series of elbows to the inside of Storm’s knee, then drags him over to the corner and rams his leg downward onto the edge of the ring apron. He tears Storm’s boot off while pausing every now and then to fire more shots at his knee, then goes back inside and gets a leglock on Storm’s exposed ankle. Storm makes the ropes, so Bubba drops all his weight on Storm’s leg and then pulls off his kneepad and sock before going back to work on his bad leg and turning Storm over in a half crab. Storm gets out but Bubba covers and hooks a leg for 2, then grabs his chain. The referee pulls it away so Bubba goes back to ramming kneedrops into Storm’s injured leg as we go to commercial.

We’re back as Bubba hits a running splash in the corner, Storm starts to fire back and sends Bubba to the ropes, but Bubba comes off with a dropkick to the knee and goes for a couple of two counts before ramming Storm’s knee into the mat. Bubba blows his nose on the referee and fires more right hands at Storm’s knee before hitting a rolling snap on the leg. Bubba claps along with the fans as they chant “Cowboy” at Storm, and this gives Storm an opening to hit a Codebreaker out of nowhere, Storm ducks a running big boot and hits a superkick for the win.

Winner: James Storm

Storm is now the #1 contender to Roode and he celebrates by pouring a beer down the front of So Cal Val’s shirt. Hey, can’t blame the guy for being excited. The guy from the Giants comes over the rail and they enjoy a beer together, but Bully Ray comes out of nowhere and blindsides Storm, then has a staredown with the football dude. Bubba gets in his face and asks him where his ring is because he doesn’t have one in Bubba’s house, then he takes the guy’s beer and drinks it, then spits it back in his face. Football Man responds by shoving Bubba so hard he literally flies backward into the ring apron and lands on his butt. Football Man has his “come on, let’s fight so I can destroy you” look on his face as Bubba cowers against the guardrail.

After a quick recap of what just happened after our main event, we go backstage where Brandon Jacobs says he came here to watch his buddy Storm beat Bully and he beat Bully, and now Storm wants to celebrate Giants style. Jacobs says Bully Ray was out of line and he stood there trying to grasp everything before he finally lost his mind and got the last word. Next week, payback is coming, and Storm and Jacobs are off to celebrate.

Backstage, Hemme interviewed James Storm about the four-way main event. He said they would be having a party in Orlando.

TNA champ Bobby Roode vs. James Storm vs. Bully Ray vs. Jeff Hardy

Bully Ray called Christy Hemme, who was doing the ring introductions a skank and introduced himself. The main event intros were missing something without Jeremy Borash. Sting is outside the ring enforcing. Roode tried to get Ray to work with him but received a disgusted stare in return. The crowd was chanting for Hardy immediately. Roode told Ray they needed to eliminate the others and work together. Ray shook his head like he agreed and then walked from the ring, allowing Storm and Hardy to doubleteam the champion.

Storm and Hardy took turns working over Roode. Roode acted like he was trying to tag out but there was no one there. Storm and Hardy choked Roode in the corner with their boots. Hardy whipped Storm into the corner to clothesline Roode. Storm then gave his body to Hardy as a base to leap off of. They continued working together until Storm rolled up Hardy out of nowhere. Hardy returned the favor, then they double slammed Roode off the top. Ray slipped in from behind and laid out Hardy and Storm from behind. Roode thought that meant they were going to work together but Ray caught him with a Uranage and covered him but Storm broke it up. Storm nailed a series of clotheslines and hit the backstabber on Roode for a two count. Hardy was dispatched to the floor.

It ended up with Storm and Roode double teaming Ray and then realizing they were doing their old spots. They teased the Beer Money yell but Roode nailed Storm. They went at it as Hardy returned. He nailed a twisting moonsault on Roode. Hardy nailed Storm but was caught with a running boot by Ray. Ray drilled Hardy with a headbutt and a series of elbows. He backdropped Hardy and nailed a splash for a two count. Ray chopped Hardy hard in the chest and placed him on the top rope, working him over. The fans chanted for Ladders. That wasn’t going to happen. Ray nailed a superplex and covered Hardy for a two count.

Ray told Roode to work with him and said they were going to nail a spike piledriver. Roode went to the ropes but was nailed by Storm. Hardy fought off Ray. Hardy and Storm went for a double superplex on Roode. Ray slipped under and did a powerbomb on the babyfaces, so it was a Tower of Doom. Ray scrambled to try and pin each of his opponents. Ray went for the sit down Bubba Bomb but Hardy turned it into the Twist of Fate. He went to go for the cover but Roode attacked him. Roode nailed a faceplant. He charged for a move but Ray clotheslined him. Hardy went for another Twist but was sent into the referee. Billy nailed the Bubba Bomb but there was no referee. Sting was helping the referee, so Ray screamed at him. Hardy nailed the Twist of Fate but again, no referee to count Ray out.

Roode speared Hardy but was caught with a face first lungblower. Storm set up for the Last Call Superkick and nailed it but Ray pulled the referee out before he could make the count. Sting got involved but Storm was sent out of the ring, crashing into the referee on the floor. Ray was nailed with a spinebuster by Roode but Hardy nailed the Twist and went for the swanton. Hardy leapt but Roode rolled out of the ring. Roode grabbed the TNA title belt but Sting hit the ring and took it away. They argued. He shoved Sting and spit in his face. Sting tried to nail him but Roode ducked and Sting hit Hardy with the belt. Roode laughed at him. Roode covered him and demanded Sting count. Roode and Sting were both tremendous here as Roode was screaming and demanding Sting count while Sting was yelling at Hardy to wake up and kick out, having no choice but to count.

Your winner, Bobby Roode!

After the match., Roode demanded that Sting raise his hand and a pissed off Sting did so, then turned to Hardy’s well being. They looked to be teasing Sting vs. Roode for down the line.
