The Fan Scrapbook Result
Well it's about time I fill you in on the scrapbook, what it looked like and what happened when I gave it to Jewel. Firstly I want to thank everyone who donated items for it. It was a complete success and was filled with gorgeous items of fanart, photos, letters and so much more. Thank you so much. You guys really made it a complete success. And We Have an Update!
I know it's shocking, but we finally have an update here! I am very sorry for the delay, but I'm sure you can understand that sometimes other things have to take priority in life. Firstly we've got some brand spanking new images in the gallery. All of which are from the recent Serenity: Cubed event which took place in London in September. Secondly I have finally gotten the Andy Attenhofer/Jorge Ilhe interview up. Jorge is the director of Jewel's new movie, The Tribe and Andy's the assistant director. Some of you may remember that a while ago I asked you for some questions for Andy. He not only gave us his answers but also got Jorge to answer some for us too. You can check this interview out here. Thirdly, some new fanart has been added. Many thanks to Pauline for sending it in and also some new affiliates. Phew, think that's it. I'm going to try and stay on top of updates here, fingers crossed. Hopefully this should tide you over for now!

More news on Atlantis
There's some more news on Jewel's stint on Atlantis' fourth season. When Stargate Atlantis actor Joe Flanigan was asked at the recent London Expo event how many episodes Jewel will be, in the next season, he replied 13-15 episodes. Looks like Jewel will be in most of the season.

Serenity Debut on Sky Movies
Good news for all UK Serenity fans (who have digitial and the movie channels). Serenity is making its debut on Sky Movies on the 4th of November (Saturday) at 8pm, followed by Revenge of the Sith. The Sky Movies website describes Serenity as a "critical and commercial hit". Damn right!

Jewel WILL Be Back in Atlantis
It's now been confirmed by Jewel that she WILL be returning to Atlantis for, I quote, a few episodes. She announced this on her blog earlier this week. It's not yet known which character she'll be, but she sarcastically reassures her readers that she will be playing a female. So all Jewel fans can look forward to the fourth season of Atlantis where we'll be seeing Jewel in a few episodes.

No More Serenity?
Rumors are abound on the internet as many news reports are now claiming that Joss Whedon has confirmed that there will be no Serenity sequel. This is a huge blow to the Firefly/Serenity fanbase, as they have always hoped that maybe some time in the future there will be some kind of continuation of Serenity or Firefly. However it seems Joss has now stated that this won't be happening. [Source]

Jewel News from Cubed
Some visitors may know that I attended last weekend's Serenity Cubed convention, which Jewel attended and where I gave her the fan scrapbook. I'll be posting a full report on that very soon. But first I thought I'd inform you of some news on the work front for Jewel. In one of the guest talks she informed the fans that she has been offered a role on Stargate Atlantis, as a doctor. She hasn't accepted the role yet, as she doesn't know what the role is and what it involves. But it could be on the books. I'll keep you informed or any more information on thsi which i receive.

Serenity Wins HUGO!
Serenity has garnered yet another award and from the very prestigious HUGO's. Joss wasn't there to accept the award, however Jewel's co-star Morena Baccarin was there and able to read a speech from Joss. You can watch the speed at YouTube.
