Guidance for the management of UNCG's online presence comes from the Internet Oversight Committee named by the Vice Chancellor for Information Technology Services, with advice from the Provost and other Vice Chancellors. The Internet Oversight Committee includes representatives from each major part of the University.

Update of UNCG Unit Web Site Requirements and launch of new UNCG home page and Unit page design assets
Project timeline:
- August 2, 2011
Header and footer assets and updated unit website requirements made available.
- October 3, 2011
UNCG home page and top tier pages go live with the new header and footer.
NOTE - Units may not go live with web pages using the new UWSR standards before this date.
- February 2012
New brand standards are published, including guidelines that apply to the content area of web pages.
- August 30, 2012
Deadline for all units to comply with the new unit website requirements.
