Ellie Shoal Potvin
October 31, 2001 - June 23, 2010
Ellie Potvin was a beautiful, 8-year-old girl whose spirit inspired people around the globe as she fought a two-year battle with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare childhood cancer.
In December 2009, budding artist Ellie and her mother first visited the studio of Anne Neilson for an oil painting lesson. A tender friendship developed and many beautiful paintings were created in the months that followed.
Ellie's Art
Several of Ellie's paintings have been made into fine art giclée prints (courtesy of Chromatype) and available from the Lift Up Foundation. Also available are notecards featuring a painting by Ellie's twin sister Grace. 100% of proceeds will benefit the Lift Up Foundation a 501c organization created to support other families struggling with pediatric cancer.
Angel Prints for Ellie
Two of Anne's Angel Series paintings are also available as limited edition giclée prints (100 each) with 50% of proceeds supporting the Lift Up Foundation. Over $15,000 has been raised from the sale of both Ellie's and Anne's prints. Thank you for your support!
