There are a number of non-committee discussion mailing lists available at Sellwood-Moreland Improvement League. A few of them are listed below.

We will never use your email address for other purposes nor do we ever knowingly share our list members addresses with any other group or entity.

Just sign up using the links below the list descriptions.

• Everyone – This is a “catch-all” list for items in the neighborhood that don’t really fit in any particular category. It’s a good place to hear from your neighbors, try out general ideas and get new initiatives started. Due to the non-specific nature of this list, it could have higher traffic volume than the other lists. Most have an average of 1 or 2 posts a week. This could be higher.

• Potlucks – This is the SMILE Potlucks with a Purpose list. Potlucks are held monthly at the SMILE station with the purpose of having fun and building relationships in the neighborhood. Subscribing to this list will provide you with a reminder each month of the neighborhood potluck as well opportunities to get involved with the planning committee, book groups, neighborhood walks, bird watching, gardening groups, emergency preparedness or another community group you would like to create.

• Families – This is the Sellwood-Moreland families listserve.  This list is designed to provide a platform for all families in the neighborhood to communicate electronically.   Subscribing to this list will provide you with a fairly regular email, about every 2-4 weeks, that will have information regarding family events as well as issues that effect families or children in the neighborhood.
