NSTAR continues to closely monitor the storm with workers prepared to respond to any damage or outages it may cause. It remains very quiet on our system right now, with less than 100 scattered power outages north and west of Boston.
To address storm-related outages that may occur, we’re adding extra staff in our regional service centers and customer call center. If parts of our service area are more heavily impacted than others, we're also able to quickly relocate NSTAR crews to where they’re most needed.
NSTAR is prepared to address any damage and outages resulting from the storm and we encourage customers whose electric service is affected to report it online or by calling us at 800-592-2000. As always, stay away from all down wires and to report them to us and local emergency officials.
