The episode of Harry’s Law featuring Erica Durance as a woman who thinks she’s Wonder Woman is airing on January 11, and now NBC has released a gallery of images from the show, which is called “Gorilla My Dreams.”
How does Erica look? Better than Adrianne Palicki? You be the judge…. and don’t forget to tune in Wednesday, January 11. Harry’s Law. As NBC used to say in the 80′s, “Be There!”

TVGuide.com and TVLine have landed first-look pictures and interviews with Erica Durance as Wonder Woman from the January 11 episode of NBC’s Harry’s Law.
The piece also has an interview with the former Lois Lane about playing yet another comics-inspired role.
Erica’s character, Annie Bilson, isn’t actually Wonder Woman, by the way. “The way that I was able to work with the character Wonder Woman in this is through the eyes of a woman who desperately needed a strong female archetype to look up to, and she had gone through such terrible things and this was her alter ego. I would challenge anybody who said that she didn’t think she was Wonder Woman. This is how she found her way out,” she tells Natalie Abrams in the TV Guide interview.
You can find the TV Guide interview (and a much larger look at the photo!) here. TVLine also has an interview with the same pictures, some at an even larger size; you can find that here. Also within, you can find an additional photo with Erica wearing the Wonder Woman costume design that Adrianne Palicki had in the aborted WW pilot.
Those folks who wanted to see Smallville’s Erica Durance as Wonder Woman will be in luck… sort of.
Wonder Woman isn’t back on, though David E. Kelley isn’t done with the character… even though most who actually saw the Wonder Woman pilot probably wishes he was through with the Amazon princess.
TVLine’s Matt Mitovich reports this afternoon that former Lois Lane Erica Durance will be appearing on Kelley’s NBC series, Harry’s Law, as a woman who’s not totally with it in the head, who retreats into the persona of Wonder Woman to go against domestic abusers. So she’s not Wonder Woman; she just thinks she is.
The episode is likely the season’s eleventh and the exact air date is not yet known.
We got a lot of comments when Wonder Woman was casting that Erica would be good for the role, surely prompted by the costume she wore in a Season 9 Smallville episode (to your right)… what do you think?
We’re all now resigned to the idea that Wonder Woman is not going to hit the air. But sometimes, some glimpses of what might have been seem to come through.
A concept artist for the Wonder Woman pilot, Cesar Lemus, posted some of his storyboard drawings for the project onto his personal blog, and the rest of the blogosphere has seemed to take notice. In some of the art, we see some of what might have been… including a Paradise Island sequence which is not in the [almost] finished pilot but is reminiscent of the Wonder Woman most of us know and love.
Enjoy the storyboards:
Kevinism has put up a very brief Wonder Woman pilot opening clip that leads to the show logo.
Don’t think anyone can argue that at least this looks good.
You can see the clip at their site. (It doesn’t appear to be embeddable.) Catch it before WB lawyers do!
We here at WWTV headquarters still haven’t seen the pilot, even though it seems to be spreading like wildfire.
