ABC Cancels V

Bad news... V won't be back for a third season, despite an excellent season finale that set it all up.

To say this is disappointing would be an understatement. All V needed, even, was a short final year to wrap everything together. And now, it's not happening.

Thanks to everyone who's dropped by VisitorSite.net... to the cast and crew who did an amazing job... and to everyone who actually watched the show. More thoughts to come once this has all processed.

V: The Complete Second Season Available To Pre-Order On Blu-ray & DVD!

No release date has been announced yet, but Amazon.com is now listing the second season of V as available to pre-order on Blu-ray and DVD.

Pre-order from Amazon through VisitorSite.net and support this site, and who knows, maybe a large amount of pre-orders will help make the case for a Season 3.

V Goes To Wondercon; No Word Yet On Season 3

How was THAT for a season ender?

Unfortunately, we have no news yet on a third season of V. It may be considered encouraging that unlike The Event and Flashforward, V didn't drop drastically after long breaks. We'll also note that aside from Bret Harrison on Breaking In there's been very little word about V actors moving on, almost as if they hope to come back. Hopefully we'll have some good news to report there.

We are also encouraged by the news that Elizabeth Mitchell and one of the show's executive producers will be attending the Wondercon convention in San Francisco on Sunday, April 3. If the show had very little chance of survival, they wouldn't go to the trouble, would they?

Here's the info on the WonderCon V panel, which curiously talks about "teasing what's to come":

Season Premiere Ratings: How Did V Do?

V came in third place in its timeslot on Tuesday night, as far as overnight-ratings go.

TVByTheNumbers reports that the premiere got 6.58 million viewers, with a 2.1/5 rating in the 18-49 demographic. It came behind the premieres of The Biggest Loser and Live To Dance which had a little over 9 million and 10 million viewers, respectively.
