Avengersite’s Craig Byrne has long been a fan of Marvel Comics, starting with a random issue of G.I. Joe in 1986 on to the purchase of issue #37 of West Coast Avengers in 1988.

First launched to tie in with the release of Iron Man 2, Avengersite is an offshoot of the the long-running Smallville fan site KryptonSite, and it hopes to spread the word about upcoming Marvel movies as well as possible.
