Marvel has released a new trailer for the Avengers movie (aka Avengers Assemble in the UK), and… wow.
You can see the trailers in hi-res (based on region) at Apple’s Trailers site, but if you want to see a Youtube version, here ya go:
Perhaps so things don’t get confused with Steed and Emma Peel, audiences in the United Kingdom are getting a different title for the upcoming Avengers movie.
As seen in the poster art to your left, the official title in the U.K. seems to have been changed — to Avengers Assemble.
“Avengers Assemble” has long been the rallying cry of the team, and is also the title of an upcoming Marvel comic book series by Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley. I guess “The Mighty Avengers” or something like that wouldn’t work?
The United Kingdom also gets the movie a week before the United States – the opening date is April 28 rather than May 4.
This morning, Marvel released another new poster for The Avengers movie which will be headed our way in a little over two months.
Apparently another Avengers trailer will be coming tomorrow, also.

A clip from The Amazing Spider-Man has made its way online.
There’s not a lot of action within, but we can all imagine what’s going to happen next….
Not content to let The Avengers have all the fun, Sony and Marvel tonight released a new, longer trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man.
The movie hits theaters July 3.
