Well it’s been quite a success so far. I had perfect weather (meaning grey skies) for the scenes that I wanted early in the film though it didn’t have to be so cold! We went from 80 degrees to snow flurries overnight. Nathan Gamble is just amazing! We are so fortunate to have him as our lead character Trey Caldwell. Also had our first crowd scenes where 70 people showed up and did a fantastic job! Crew is a little beat, we take off tomorrow and will all get some rest… though I’m going up to Cleveland to do a morning show and meet with the Wall Street Journal in the afternoon. We are truly blessed with this film and have tons of interest coming in from around the country which is EXACTLY what I had hoped for to bring attention to the long standing tradition of the Soap Box Derby.
