Summer Camps 2012

spacer
The Shelburne Art Center has provided youth from the greater Burlington area with access to our art and craft studios and the teachings of our master crafters of clay, wood, metals, glass, and visual art. Summer camp 2012 is approaching and in these days of our exceedingly fast and constantly changing world it seems more and more important to teach our kids to slow down and work with one’s hand, to learn about process and not privilege product, to be outside in the sun with friends and good, attentive teachers. This is what we are continuing to strive for at The Shelburne Art Center. Our small courtyard campus allows for some quiet between the din, and a safe place for campers to run around, eat lunch, or learn a new game. We’ve updated our studios since last summer with better, more energy efficient lighting, cleaned out some space for more elbow-room, painted the walls, and programmed a fantastic summer! We are bringing back some oldies but goodies, maintaining our core curriculum, and adding some new camps that will surely excite your creativity. Looking forward to seeing you all in June!

Multi-child or multi-camp discounts are available. Please call our office at 802.965.3648 for details. Discount cannot be applied to online registrations.
