About Viewpoints

“Viewpoints” essays are commentaries from our rabbaim and lay members that demonstrate the distinctiveness and value of the UTJ principles, philosophy and approach. While not necessarily official UTJ positions, these viewpoints give the reader a taste of how the UTJ melds tradition with modern thought and offers a forum for our rabbaim and lay members to generate discussion.
