Artistic Exchange at Palazzo Marino, Milano. A project that combines the past of Georges de la Tour with the contemporary art of the present: during the night of 9 January, the wall that comprises the backdrop to the exhibition was completely painted by six young artists.

I was invited from Art Kitchen collective to spend ten days in Franciacorta, a beautiful area in the north of Italy, to paint a serie of big sized canvases for this upcoming show to promote this territory and his delicious sparkling wines. Together with the gallery  Prospettive D’Arte we organized a “Pop-up” show of artworks I had realized during the last years in the club Hollywood Living. Hollywood living is a very fashionable club usually attended by most of Milan’s team soccer players. The show will run during the month of October and November 2011.

During the months of May, June, July, August & September 2010 I presented in Milan a big personal exhibition called Mash Up. It tooks me a whole year to prepare all the pieces of the show which were almost 50 new artworks divided between big sized canvases, medium size artworks on paper, and a huge sculpture and a enormous spraypainted Pvc on the outside.
The concept behind the exhibition was to create a “Mash-up” of images from contemporary culture following this major quote: “Art, don’t lock yourself up inside your rooms, keep in touch with the street kids.” The Location SuperstudioPiú, Via Tortona 27, Milan (www.superstudiogroup.com) was an huge industrial space in which take place every year very important meetings in the fields of Art, Fashion and Design such the Milan Furniture Fair, the “White” Fashion Fair and Contemporary Art Fair. Thanks to the big effort of my colleaugues at Art Kitchen we builted up a very professional and ambitious exhibition divided in three main sections.
