spacer COLUMBUS, Ohio – If there's one thing Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey can agree upon, it's that they've both endured hardships to get to where they are today.

Just who's endured more is probably a matter of debate, as it seems to be with most things concerning the rivals.

"I don't she's appreciating what this is doing for her whereas this is such a radical change for me so quickly that, of course, I'm having fun," Rousey told MMAjunkie.com.

spacer SYDNEY – MMAjunkie.com was on scene for official "UFC on FX 2: Alves vs. Kampmann" weigh-ins, where all 22 competitors successfully made weight for tonight's FX-broadcast event.

Leading the charge were welterweight headliners Thiago Alves and Martin Kampmann, who each came in one-half pound under the allowable limit of 171 pounds.

Additionally, all four entrants in the UFC's first-ever flyweight tournament came in equally at 125.5 pounds.

Nearing 40 years old, UFC on FX 2's Anthony Perosh finally hitting his stride

spacer SYDNEY – Four years, seven months and 19 days.

That's the amount of time Australian veteran Anthony Perosh spent between his octagon debut at UFC 61 and his first-ever UFC win, which came at 2011's UFC 127 event.

Now, at 39 years old, Perosh feels like he's finally found his role in the sport. And with back-to-back octagon wins, "The Hippo" thinks he's actually entering the prime of his career.

After Misaki, Strikeforce's Daley wants to fight Marquardt for title

spacer COLUMBUS, Ohio – Onetime Strikeforce welterweight title challenger Paul Daley assumes that he'll get past Kazuo Misaki at Saturday's "Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey" event.

And Daley also assumes that recent signee Nate Marquardt will get past Tyron Woodley when they meet, likely for the title, as he's heard from people within Strikeforce.

That leaves him in prime position.

UFC 144 medical suspensions: Henderson, 'Rampage' possibly out six months

spacer The UFC issued medical suspensions to nine fighters from this past weekend's UFC 144 event.

Three of them – main-event winner Benson Henderson and co-main-event loser Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, as well as Elji Mitsuoka – could be out up to six months.

The UFC, which served as its own regulatory body for the overseas event, today confirmed the suspensions with MMAjunkie.com.

spacer It was about six years ago when Ramiro "Junior" Hernandez checked his messages before bed and found one that would change his life.

But there's a funny twist to that story.

Hernandez, who next fights at Friday's Titan Fighting 21 event, listened to the message that told him it was from Pat Miletich, the famed trainer. It said word about Hernandez had spread – about his being beefed up from two years of hard weight training – and the caller wanted him to try MMA.
