ABOUT

How do you get from Nothing
- a vague hunch, a rough idea, a yearning-
to Something?
A finished artwork sold at a good price, a business that grows sustainably, a satisfying lifestyle for where you are now.

This doesn’t just happen-
there is a five-part process, an arc of creative action, that your project goes through.
Each of these five directions around the arc have their own nature and their own obstacles.
Understand these and you can move easily and effectively through each one.
You can get unstuck, and get moving on your life.

You and I do this every single day.

You improvise with words and make conversations,
you have an idea for a tasty new soup and you make it,
you think up a table design that would be cool and you build it,
you imagine how a rock might have formed and imagine how this process could happen, then find out.

You go from Nothing to Something.

For instance: I’ve been making things and selling them since I was 11 years old. I make polymer and mixed-media jewelry, now in major museums and private collections worldwide. I teach artmaking processes that I developed; in workshops and retreats around the US, EU, and Canada. I’ve had a business based on my creative efforts since 1984. I made this happen, consciously and subconsciously.

Creativity, innovation- these are fundamental human activities.
You all do them, every day, whether you recognize it or not.

When we talk, what counts in the moment for you is a down-to-earth, practical approach to the common sense of You.
Your goals, your background, your path, and your desired results.
Your unique path from Nothing to Something. You go down this path every day of your life.

I’m a guide across this territory, a trekker who’s been down these paths many times before.
I help you get your map, a compass and  then point you on the way, accompanying you.
When you are ready for your own journey from Nothing to Something, let’s talk.

Find your purpose.
Connect your creativity.
Reach success.

” The first time I talked with Tory,  she had me thinking outside of the box within an hour. Her ability to help you see possibilities instead of obstacles is a game changer.
