• Founded in 1982, Light Cone is a non-profit association with the aim of promoting , distributing , and preserving experimental cinema in France. More than 3500 films are distributed in our catalogue.

Light Cone and Scratch have published various specialized books on experimental cinema. The shop also proposes books and DVDs by other publishers: The Seashell and the Clergyman by Germaine Dulac, The Angel and Short films by Patrick Bokanowski.

	In 2007, 2008 and 2009, Light Cone obtained funding from the French Culture Ministry to digitize a portion of its film collection in order to facilitate access to and knowledge of the film heritage of which we are custodians...
