Welcome to the new RTNDF high school website!

Last spring teachers on the RTNDFTEACHER listserv asked for a place where schools across the country could share their students' broadcast work. We're so happy to fulfill that request.

    But wait there's more.

New Radio Curriculum for Broadcast Teachers

spacer We've just begun to release a new Radio Curriculum for radio journalism teachers. We want this curriculum to be a living, growing entity, and we want to add your input to these pages.  Read through these lesson plans and then send us your own ideas, comments and suggestions so that we may incorporate them into this guide and share them with others.  The curriculum was created by RTNDF, Prime Movers, and the District of Columbia Public Schools CTE and funded by a generous grant from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.  Download now.

Broadcast in a Box now available online!

RTNDF Podcasts from the 2006 JEA Convention.

spacer We went to the 2006 JEA/NSPA Fall National Convention in Nashville and put a group of teachers through a grueling all-day radio boot camp.  In just one day RTNDF showed them how to create radio news packages and then turn their stories into an actual audio podcast.  Then we documented the whole thing on a podcast of our own.  Check it out.
