Things to practice today: Filling up the page with random crap.

A very rough series of the layers in Anders’ Rabbit Heart robe, as seen in the Eternal WiP.

Basically:

1. Linen breeches and boots (socks not pictured).
2. Woollen mandress.
3. Coat and belts and shit. FACE-MELTING JUSTICE!

Main point is that the coat/bolero/pauldrons are all one contraption, which is basically long strips of leather nailed together (though only from about mid-thigh up) and ergo not particularly comfortable, hence the mandress underneath. The idea was roughly the (concept art version) Renegade’s Coat minus several years’ worth of wear and tear, though it has bits and pieces stolen from the game’s other Tevinter robe styles.

Also, watch me make pretence to both consistency and anatomy. Lulz.

Seriously, though. This is now what I think of every time I hear the phrase “social justice”.

Man, everyone’s armour in this game is outrageously complicated; three freaking panels and I think it took me like four hours to sketch, even in the supposedly “simplified” style. Pffft!

Also: Anders and Varric have almost exactly the same hairstyle. Go figure.

Is his head way too big, or is it just me? It’s way too big, isn’t it? Damnit; I’ll have to try and fix it before the paint… bleh.
