Welcome

You've reached the personal web space of one Erika Santiago. Going to Hell in a Handbag has housed my blog, fan fiction, photographs and other miscellaneous web junk since September 2002. I've since lost interest in all of the aforementioned, but still have a strong sentimental attachment to the site. So instead of deleting it completely, I've decided to let it stand as an online archive of all my old (ahem) writings. I've also removed the photos section because, in retrospect, I don't feel all that comfortable sharing my personal photos with the public. (Yeah, I know, I'm closing the barn door after the horses have fled. At least future visitors won't have to look at 'em anymore.)

Though the site will no longer be updated, you can still feel free to roam around, especially if you've got an hour or two to kill. Try not to get lost; it's a long way back to civilization.

The site's layout is based on David Mack's cover art for the comic book Alias. I claim no ownership over the original artwork or the character portrayed in it. Those belong to Marvel Comics. Don't sue, it isn't nice.
