Construction Alert!
Due to N.C. Department of Transportation's widening project, the section of U.S. 321 from Kirby Mountain Road to Blackberry Road in Caldwell County may temporarily close on Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon until 2 p.m., weather permitting.
During the closure, traffic is detoured on N.C. 18 to Wilkesboro and then to U.S. 421 North to Boone.
