Rep. Godshall joined Gov. Tom Corbett and other lawmakers for the signing of legislation to create the Gas and Hazardous Liquids Pipelines Act. As chairman of the House Consumer Affairs Committee, Godshall was a vocal supporter of the bill, which will give the state Public Utility Commission (PUC) regulatory oversight with respect to pipeline safety, and of certain activities related to the natural gas transportation process.
