How long have you been taking photographs?
I've been taking photos since October 2008 when my husband and I brought our Canon 1000D which I still own and use. I had taken pictures with a compact before then, but not in any serious manner and not wth any regard for technique or style!

Do you do commercial work?
I am interested in doing work time-for-CD (TFCD). I've done some portraiture work and I'm interested in doing animal work. Please contact me via the contact page.

How did you get published?
I took part in SoFoBoMo to do a photobook in 31 days and chose Coventry as my topic due to the BBC My Coventry Project that I also took part of in April 2009. Once I completed the book, several people suggested that I see about getting it published as it shows a very positive view of the city. Breedon Books (now The Derby Publishing Co) were interested enough to publish it, and it was released in October 2009.

What do you hope to achieve with Coventry?
To show that Coventry is not a 'dump' as people believe, but that it has a rich culture and heritage.

Why do you write gay fiction?
This is a very complex question, but essentially it's because I like it, and I appear to not be that bad at it. My favourite books are Mercedes Lackey's The Last Herald Mage trilogy and I hope that one day I can write as well as that.

Do you write fanfiction?
Yes, but I've not got it up. I generally write it as it's a good way to practice writing with predefined characters. It's a good sandbox to play in.

Your cats are called Onyxia and Nefarian, are they Warcraft references?
Yes, our cats are named after two of the black dragons in World of Warcraft. They're black and white moggies and Onyxia is a very skittish and delicate cat while Nefarian is a cuddly big kitty who you can carry around.

What do you play on Warcraft?
I (and Ian) both play feral druids on Trollbane-EU. I play Fayth if you want to say hello.
