Featured Process Capability
Laser Welding
SOURIAU PA&E's laser welding technology utilizes state of the art Lasag Laser Welding systems which join materials using the radiation from a focused, energy dense beam of infrared light. Our laser welding systems are completely computer controlled providing a true 'non-contact' welding process which allows for incredible precision machining on and extremely small heat affected zone. Because laser welding produces a small heat affected zone, housings that use laser welded connectors can be more easily re-worked. For example, should a pin on a sealed connector thats been laser welded into a populated housing break, that connector can be easily removed and replaced via the laser without risking heat the heat damage to the sensitive electronics that removing and reflowing solder could cause.
