volunteering

kidzeco is managed by a large number of volunteers. we have volunteer opportunities in retail, administration and marketing. volunteering is an excellent way to learn new skills, build confidence and meet new people.

our volunteer of the month is aileen. aileen has been with us for 6 months and had this to say about volunteering in kidzeco.

“when I heard about kidzeco I decided to volunteer as I thought it was a very good idea to recycle baby goods rather than sending them to landfill. I help out in the shop and in the ‘fun with fabric’ drop-in.

I enjoy my time in kidzeco, meeting new parents with their new babies as well as the new grandparents! It is also lovely to see the toddlers who can’t wait to see what new toys are on display so that they can play with them.

kidzeco’s ethic of good quality goods at low prices has proved a winner with the customers as most of them cannot resist a bargain. I will continue to volunteer and will do whatever I can to help this worthy cause”.
