E-mail Issues
Many Lyonshost.com customers have been experiencing challenges with domains and Internet Service Providers blocking delivery of mail messages. We take these issues very seriously and wanted to update you on our latest findings. This problem is neither caused by Lyonshost nor directly under our control. With our recent server expansion we acquired a number of new IP addresses. We have since discovered that they were all black-listed in 2006 for spam abuse. All of the IP addresses are clear of the known public black-lists. The problem has been private corporate black-lists (AT&T, Earthlink and others) have either not cleared our IP addresses, or after clearing us, we have been relisted in error. This has been equally frustrating for us as it appears that we are being cleared and then quickly being re-listed. Our server manager, Jim Z, has been working tirelessly with us to resolve this issue.
As of this evening, we believe that our latest efforts to clear the IP addresses have closed the issue. If you continue to experience any challenges with blocked or undeliverable e-mail, please use our Portal* to open a Support Ticket to log the problem immediately. When possible, please include the full text of the bounced message with all error notifications and headers.
