Thomas Pluck was born in Nutley, New Jersey, the hamlet from which Martha Stewart sprang like a decoratin’ demon in a cloud of brimstone and potpourri. He attended Rutgers University where he graduated with College Honors for his short
story collection, Avondale.
He has had numerous short stories published in Beat to a Pulp, McSweeney’s, Shotgun Honey, The Morning News, The Flash Fiction Offensive, The Utne Reader and Pulp Metal Magazine and Pure Slush, and has upcoming publications in Needle: A Magazine of Noir, Pulp Modern, All Due Respect, Crimefactory Magazine, Plots With Guns and Crimespree.
He is currently working on his first novel.
The Lost Children
The anthology consists of 30 stories written by a wide range
of writers who regularly contribute pieces to the Friday Flash Fiction
website. These wonderful people responded to Fiona’s 50th birthday
challenge to write a story about ‘Lost Children’. The result of this
brings together a rich tapestry of writing styles and genre.
Thomas’s Cause:
The proceeds from any sales of THE LOST CHILDREN ANTHOLOGY will go 50/50 to Protect in the US and Children 1st in Scotland.
Everybody deserve a fair chance at life. A chance to be happy, to love, to trust, to have a balanced life. When you take advantage of a child, you deny that person a fair start. Most likely, you will destroy a person’s potential and haunt the rest of his life. It’s unforgivable. With the help of this anthology we hope to make a small contribution to help vulnerable children.
