Have worked with those receiving conventional cancer treatment for many years, also with senior citizens with chronic health conditions.
More recently, I have specialised in working with pregnant and postnatal women; and have been teaching mothers to give their babies shiatsu massage.
I have clients who come just for stress relief as well those who come with specific complaints, of an emotional or physical nature.
- About me
I qualified as a Shiatsu practitioner in 1994 and have run a private Shiatsu practice since then. When I first started practicing Shiatsu, I did voluntary work for the Cancer Resource Centre in Wandsworth and have continued to work with those with cancer in my private practice. A few years later I got paid work for a charity in Hoxton which offered complementary therapies to those over 60.
In 2003 I completed a diploma in Shiatsu for maternity care with Wellmother; I have been working with pregnant women and supported them after the birth ever since; I also teach mother how to massage their babies, incorporating shiatsu points within this.
I became a registered teacher with the Shiatsu Society in 2009 and have since been teaching for Wellmother as well as running my own courses. I am also an Aikido teacher and hold a 3rd Dan black belt.
