CSG Associates Program

CSG has long believed private sector involvement in the American governance system is critical in formulating sound solutions to public policy challenges. The CSG Associates Program facilitates this interaction by engaging government affairs professionals in the Council’s program and policy work, its national and regional conferences, and its information network. CSG Associates bring their perspectives to the Council’s state trends identification and analysis process and make significant contributions to its meetings and international exchanges.
Annual dues are $6,000, and your membership begins as soon as you sign on and runs for one year from enrollment. Here are a few of the benefits:

Networking Opportunities

CSG National Conference —one complimentary registration and a $200 discount off our regular private sector rate for any additional representatives from your company or organization. And, we give a 20% discount if you would like to exhibit during the meeting.
Regional Meetings—a 50% discount off private sector registration fees for one designated member of your company/organization.

Publications

Complimentary copies of many of our publications, including, a yearly subscription to CSG's national magazine, Capitol Ideas; Suggested State Legislation; The Book of the States and the CSG State Directories to keep you in touch with the changing legislatures and executive branch officials.

National Committees and Task Force Involvement

We encourage the CSG Associates to serve on CSG national committees and task forces.

CSG 21st Century Foundation

This foundation brings together CSG’s public and private sector members to weigh in on CSG policy priorities, making decisions on which projects are annually awarded funding, such as the newly formed and very successful National Center on Interstate Compacts. Private sector dues are $25,000 for a five-year membership.
