The Ballad Of The Brilliant Marketeer | June 01, 2006

The Challenge

Our client, The Falk Group, set out a challenge for us to create a radically different viral marketing piece for their client Catalina Health Resource (CHR). CHR delivers highly targeted news and ads directly through pharmacy prescription systems.

The result is "The Ballad Of The Brilliant Marketeer." This original animation and song makes the viewer the star of the show through the integration of their face on top of the main characters body (moving mouth and all).

The Story

The hero of the piece is a marketer that is under continual pressure from his/her boss to find new ways to gain "more sales, more profits and more market share." Frustrated by the ever shrinking and unpredicatable results realized from Radio and TV advertising, our hero learns that marketing that is targeted and relevant to what a person really cares about is far more effective. After our little ballad, we finish with a 1960's inspired commercial for Catalina's targeted marketing tool, PatientLink IQ.

The Team

Developed jointly with our partners Netymology, we created a flash movie infused with our proprietary Muglets face grabbing engine.
