He was known as Joseph, son of Jacob, to the people in the town of Nazareth in Galilee's southern hills. Outside of Nazareth he was called Joseph of Nazareth, the carpenter. His name and the town where he lived might never be known today except for Jesus Christ. Jesus, the Son of God, spent almost thirty years of his life in Nazareth.
