Feb 2012:  Well, as some of you must have noticed (because you wrote letters saying that you noticed), there have been some changes here at ol’ www.cjhenderson.com/. “A new look for a new era,” or some slogan like that. All well and good, and where as we would love to hear what you think of the new look, there’s another slogan that comes to mind … “temporary inconvenience for permanent improvement.”

 Things were a little disrupted here for a few days. That’s what happens when contractors come in and start moving things around … you know. Anyway, to make things up to our loyal visitors, we’ve come up with a way to make it up to you. During the month of March, 11 stories never before posted here at the site will run, a new one every 3 days! Wow! CJ himself picked tales, some comedy, some horror, some hard-boiled mystery, some … well, you get the idea. Now, these tales will only be up one at a time (see the Featured Story sidebar on the left), so you’re going to have to come back every three days, but, well, come on … is that so hard? For more great verbiage from our boy CJ? No … we didn’t think so.

Anyway, the fun starts in just a few days, so come on in, the water’s fine and the stories are free!

Hey, Star Trek fans … is that Wil Wheaton holding up a copy of our boy CJ’s new book “Brooklyn Knight?” Why, we believe it is! This is something. First, the main man, William Shatner, gives the book a terrific quote for its front cover, and now we’ve got a Next Gen star showing interest. Can Deep Space Nine and Voyager (not to mention Enterprise) be far behind? Well, yeah, they might … but we still thought this was pretty cool and just had to post it!

At long last it’s all the stories of the Pelgimbly Institute for the Advanced Sciences and the chaos it caused, together in one hilarious package.
