Online grocer Ocado said its sales had grown in number but fallen in value as more people chose to buy their groceries online. Issuing an interim management statement, it said its range had grown while its fulfillment capacity had been extended.

In Q4 of 2011, mobile sales accounted for 5.3% of e-retail sales, which has shot up from 0.4% over the space of just two years. This represents a staggering growth rate of 1,320%.
