This week's page dredged from the depths of KMANT for your viewing pleasure is... The Deadlands: Hell on Earth Rulebook. This game kicks ass, it's as simple as that. If you liked the backdrop of Mad Max 3 or you just fancy mooching around a post apocalyptic USA then this game is for you. Adventure is a way of life in this game and ammo's is scarce so don't shoot till you can see the whites of their eyes... assuming they have eyes of course :-)

Wednesday Night RPG: It's the only Way They'll Learn...

This month I have mostly been playing... Eberron. This is the first time our group has played this fine new fantasy setting and although we are all still learning the ropes as far as 'the world' is concerned, it's sufficiently safe to say that so far I'm impressed.

We've been playing through a few of the adventures from the sourcebooks and generally we seem to be doing quite well. We were all saddened at the loss of a character at the end of the last session and I know I speak for us all when I say he will be sorely missed. That’s right; things just won't be the same without... Umm... that guy... the one with the sword... ringing any bells? Nope me neither.

I decided to play a healing character in this setting as usually I'm just an all round heroic fighting machine and I fancied a change. The cleric seemed an obvious choice given my deeply caring nature and general good guy approach to situations... that and of course if things go badly I can cast Sanctuary on myself and spend a few rounds making a valiant tactical withdrawal.

Back to Earthdawn again next week. Something about a library from what I can remember... The exciting life we adventuring types lead.
