Blooming Glen Farm, founded in January 2006, is entering its seventh season of production. It is situated in scenic Upper Bucks County, Pennsylvania on 30 acres of preserved farm land in Hilltown Township. Farmers Tom Murtha and Tricia Borneman have been farming together for 12 years. We returned to Bucks County where Tricia grew up because we are committed to preserving and encouraging the rich agricultural heritage of this region. We rent the land that we farm from Henry and Charlotte Rosenberger who have preserved the acreage for agricultural use. They share our vision for encouraging sustainable agriculture in Bucks County through organic farming practices which enrich the soil and protect our water and air. We grow over 75 different varieties of vegetables, fruits, flowers and herbs. We market our produce through our 300-member CSA, to restaurants and natural food stores, and at the seasonal Headhouse Farmers' Market on Sundays in Philadelphia, the Wrightstown Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings, and the Collegeville Farmers Market on Saturday mornings in Collegeville.
