A great Initial Assessment for Functional Skills (with Functional Skills Diagnostics) is now available to subscribers at no additional cost as part of the roll out of Guroo 2.1.
New customers can choose to licence all-inclusive, Initial Assessment only, or Teaching and Learning Resources only.
Functional Skills Initial Assessment
Top of our customers’ collective wish lists, we have created an Initial Assessment and Diagnostic system specifically for Functional Skills.
Designed to provide a proper Initial Assessment for Functional Skills (not a redesigned Key Skills initial assessment), Guroo includes Functional Skills Initial Assessments for maths and English and ICT, using carefully designed Functional Skills questions, and testing specific elements of the Functional Skills criteria at all Levels.
As well as giving you a level indicator for each learner, the Guroo Initial Assessment includes Functional Skills Diagnostics that indicate strengths and weaknesses … along with links to Guroo resources that are designed to develop those skills.
Each Initial Assessment is generated from banks of questions, with randomised question selection, question order and question content. That means you can use the Initial Assessment more than once with a learner and they will get a different set of questions each time – and it prevents “collaboration” if you have a group of learners doing the Initial Assessment at the same time.
We think this is probably the best Functional Skills Initial Assessment and Diagnostic in the World …
