CIPFA Membership
Welcome to the CIPFA Membership section.
CIPFA is the leading accountancy body for public services, whether in the public or private sectors. Many existing members occupy positions of influence in Local Authorities, NHS Trusts, Central Government, Housing, Education, Water, Electricity and Gas companies and private sector organisations such as Nationwide Building Society, IBM, Marks and Spencer and the World Bank. CIPFA members are also employed by all of the top accounting firms.
Within this section there are details of how to become a member of CIPFA; readmission process for former members; the Statement of Expertise, which expresses the broad collective expertise of members with several years post qualifying experience; Practice Assurance Scheme for Members in Public Practice; CIPFA Rewards – exclusive member benefits scheme for members and students; Membership Fees (current and past) and various membership information.
CIPFA members can manage their membership details in ‘My Membership’ which is located within the CIPFA Learning Centre (CLC). The CLC is then the single point for members to securely update personal details, search the CLC Knowledge Base and complete their CPD information.
Other facilities in ‘My Membership’ include an on-line directory of members and students, searchable by name or employer; information on your current year membership balance, how you pay it and your current fee grade. There are also various forms available for download to manage your membership.
