The Colin Smythe Terry Pratchett Archive
The collection has been generously donated by Terry Pratchett's agent, Colin Smythe.
It brings together all editions of the published writings of Terry Pratchett, and includes book proofs, typescripts, associated publications and merchandising, with a selection of writings about Terry Pratchett. Terry Pratchett's books have been published, contracted for or broadcast in thirty-two languages: Brazilian-Portuguese, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Icelandic, Italian, Japanese, Jugoslav/Serbian, Korean, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovakian, Slovenian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, and Welsh. All of these are present in the Archive. A list of Pratchett manuscripts forms part of the archives catalogue.
This is a mixed media collection: not only does it hold the standard printed material - novels, short stories, and journal articles - but also expands to include audio books, graphic novels, play texts, screenplays, maps, diaries, calendars, videos, DVDs, games, computer games, jigsaws, posters, prints, cards, bookmarks, bookplates, wine and alcoholic beverages, newsletters and fanzines, models, tee-shirts, key-rings, and publicity material.
The recording of this diverse archive is an ongoing process.
