Future of SJRLC... Well, the other shoe has dropped. If you listened to the State Librarians webinar on Wednesday morning, you know that she will be funding only one Regional Cooperative in this fiscal year.
The SJRLC Office will be ceasing operations on or about August 27, 2010.
What does this mean for you? The good news is that Interlibrary Loan, Delivery, Jersey Connect Internet Access, and access to databases will continue as in the past. The bad news is that you wont be receiving those services from us.
All SJRLC members will automatically become members of the new Region. We are all working to make this as seamless as possible and we know that Cheryl O'Connor and her staff will do everything they can for the libraries of NJ.
