SEEK - BUILD - REALIZE
Turnstone, LLC is a real estate development company founded in 1997 by John Ward & Kurt Slingsby. The main focus of the company is on the acquisition, rehabilitation, and short-term disposition of single-family homes in a narrowly defined corridor of Los Angeles County.
It is Turnstone’s philosophy to purchase real property assets, add a much needed value to each location which in the end has generated superior returns while promoting urban renewal and recovery. This is essentially what sets Turnstone apart from the competition and has propelled the organization through the market fluctuations that have devastated so many others. The company’s investment decisions are made solely on the quality of the investment opportunity rather than maintaining the overhead need of a real estate brokerage. Our focus has not been on the creation of a large real estate acquisition firm but rather focusing on each acquisition as an individual opportunity requiring the firms’ full attention through the project life cycle.
