    Galeria Bellas Artes

    Galeria Bellas Artes is the etching studio and gallery of Sergio Ladron de Guevara, an artist of international renown. The charming space, one of Cave Creek, Arizona’s premiere art galleries, is filled with the breadth of his work from a 56 year career as a professional artist. A working etching studio is incorporated into the gallery space including hand built etching presses, copies of Rembrandt’s. Exquisite silverpoint drawings are also shown. Two important series from the artist’s ‘oeuvre’ may be seen by appointment – his “WALLS” series, casein paintings of Mexican and French street scenes showing the life of places where he spent much of his life, and the  “PANDORA”, series a fascinating body of semi-abstract works. Most of Ladron de Guevara’s work is on this website.
