Please join us in welcoming , Ms. Lorena (Lori) Alvarez, who is our Administrative Assistant for Faculty. Lori brings over 15 years of experience with TAMU-Kingsville. She will be located in OCNR 311. We are sure Lori will be a grat asset to us.
One of our Alumini, Clara Jean Light was named an Outstanding Islander. Light is a former graduate assistant to the Costal Bend Business Innovation Center and was named the Innovation Center's 2011 Student of the year. While attending the University, Light had tree jobs, maintained a 3.7 GPA. In 2011, she received the Texas Society of CPAs Corpus Christi Chapter Accounting Excellence Award, and was awarded a scholarship from the Chapter that same year. To read more about Light click here.
