Even more photos on Pictarine!

We continue to give you access to more and more photos on Pictarine and today we are really happy to announce you new sources of photos.

Multi-accounts

We have just added the most requested feature: multi-accounts. Right now, you can add to your Pictarine as many accounts of the same service as you like: all the Picasa accounts of your family, your personal and professional Twitter accounts, or even your two personal Flickr accounts. You will enjoy all your photos in one place.

Facebook pages

From now on, we give you access to all the photos of the Facebook fan pages you like; photos from your favorite music group or events you are crazy about. Of course you can download all these photos with one click and comment them directly in Pictarine!

If you already have an account on Pictarine, you need to remove your Facebook account from Pictarine and add it again in order to enjoy this feature. Facebook will ask you to grant Pictarine an access to your fan pages and then you will enjoy all your fan pages photos.

Pictarine now also display separately all the photos from the Facebook pages you administrate. It’s now easier for you to access these photos.

Invite your friends

You love Pictarine and you want to share it with your friends. We have added a button on each of your Facebook and Google friends “Invite to Pictarine” so you will be the first to tell your friends about this awesome service!

Check all these new features on Pictarine!

Behind the scene….

This week-end, Guillain, our Art Director came in Paris to design with us the next version of Pictarine “Kumquat”. This was a magical moment of creation, and we really enjoyed this time working on the new interface you will discover very soon. Kumquat will be about more organization and photo beauty. We are eager to show you that!

At the same time, we have improvised a photo studio at Le Camping, more on that very soon :)

As you may know, we have integrated the accelerator program Le Camping an awesome place with 11 others great startups. If you are nearby, come and have a coffee with us!

Congrats! You have pruned your Pictarine tree.

Two weeks ago, we sent you a survey to discover what you really like in Pictarine and the problems you encounter everyday with your photos. We received more than 500 answers from you, that was awesome! We have taken the time to read all your feedback and answer your questions individually. We have learned a lot from you, thank you so much.

Organization the next big thing

Most of you have the same big problem: you have too much photos and it is difficult to find easily the photos you really want to see at a given time. Pictarine already gets all your photos from everywhere. We now want to help you organize them. The first step is a beta feature we are launching today. Check it on Pictarine.com and try the new Search menu. Feel free to give us some feedback at contact@pictarine.com so this feature will really fit your needs.

You have amazing other ideas!

We are also working on your other needs like backup or mobile. We will show you amazing things in the coming months, so stay tuned!

All your Instagram and Twitter photos in one place

Today, Pictarine welcomes two new services : Twitter and Instagram

Twitter

From now on, you can access all your photos from Twitter, wherever they are hosted: Twitpic, Yfrog, Lockerz (former Plixi) and the new Twitter hosting service.

Just authorize Pictarine to access your Twitter account, and we automatically collect all your recent photos from these four services so you can see at a glance all the photos you have snapped with your mobile and shared on Twitter. At any time you can refresh your memories with your Twitter photos.

Pictarine allows you to download your recent photos from these Twitter services : you can have a safe copy on your computer at any time.

Instagram

From now on, you can access all your photos from Instagram. You can view or download all of them with a click. An other great feature we added, is the access to all your Instagram friends’ photos. As we have already done with Facebook, Picasa and Flickr, photos are grouped in an album per friend so it’s really easy to discover and download amazing photos from your friends. Enjoy it!

Reshare your Twitter and Instagram photos

Imagine you attend a great week-end with your friends and you take nice pictures with your camera. And you snap some pix with your phone and upload them on Instagram or Twitter. And of course all your friends do the same. Wouldn’t it be great to get all these photos in the same place?

From now on, you will experience a brand new feature on Pictarine : you will be able to mix your photos from your phone and your camera in a single virtual album. You can invite privately groups of friends to view, comment and add their own mobile or camera photos too.

How does it work? Just create a Zest on Pictarine (the virtual album) and you will be able to mix your photos from Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Picasa (google+ instant uploads included!), Flickr and these hosted on your computer. The interface remains as friendly as before and you can still share your Zest privatly with your Facebook, Yahoo and Gmail contacts. They will be able to add their own photos from their camera or phone too.

This is something new to allow people to easily access, mix and share the photos they have taken with all their devices and wherever their photos are hosted. We really think this is the beginning of a new era for the photo-sharing. Hope you will enjoy this feature!
