Education Town Hall Meetings
The Greater Miami Chamber Education Committee has taken a different approach to the education agenda for Greater Miami -- it is concentrating efforts on defining what the business issues are related to education. To that end the Chamber is requesting direct and unfiltered input from selected executives and entrepreneurs in three major business categories that contribute to Miami’s continued economic growth. A series of three targeted town hall meetings, each consisting of a moderated discussion with a group of invited people from targeted business groups will focus on what is needed from education institutions/systems and how the business community can contribute to the education solution. The results of the three town hall meetings (Optimizers | Big Company Employer | New Economy - April 28) will drive the Chamber’s Education agenda and will be showcased at the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce Education Summit of June 2011.
