580 SPLIT an annual journal of arts and letters

580 Split is an annual journal of arts and letters housed in the MFA program of Mills College in Oakland, California. Edited by a revolving staff of graduate students, 580 aims to publish innovative poetry, prose, and visual art.

The journal takes its name from the highway ramps, overpasses, and interchanges near the college.

Submissions are now being accepted for Issue 14. Deadline for submissions is October 31, 2011.

We have decided to showcase the work of a Mills College Alumni in Issue 14. Please submit at the link below in the Mills College category (Deadline is Nov. 4th)
