Secrets to Perfect Scene Hair

spacer

What is Scene Hair?

Basically, scene hair (aka emo hair) is a choppy hairstyle that is most often dyed black, or with colored chunky streaks here and there. More often than not, the hair is straight and heavily layered. The trick to scene hair is to keep it uneven. The choppier your hair is, the more funky and edgy the look!

Some prefer to wear their fringe or bangs long to go with this hairstyle. Cute hairclips, bows and hair bands can be worn together with this look. This is because these hair accessories are in direct juxtaposition with the edgy, messy, boyish look, making the overall style more vibrant and interesting.

Some women prefer the short, boyish scene hair and others prefer the long scene hairstyle. Regardless of the length of your hair, the layers are key to achieving the perfect scene hairstyle. These layers don’t have to be neatly cut, in fact the beauty of scene hair, lies in the pure randomness of layers!

For girls with short hair, choppiness of the layering can make your hair look sparse when left flat.  Choose a  hair texturizer like TIGI Bed Head Manipulatorspacer  and use your fingers to run it through your hair for more volume. The layers are easier to work with when you use a hair product. This way, you can get a messy, modern look.

If you are a serious scene hair woman, consider experimenting with hair dyes. Scene hair has been defined normally with black  hair dye, but increasingly girls are opting for bolder, statement colors such as pink, blue, red and blonde! You can dye your whole head, just a few streaks or the fringe only.

A simple, no fuss option for short hairstyles use extensions! They come in a variety of colors and lengths and allow for an easy change-up, to match your look . Oh, and what could be easier than adding extensions for long scene hair without hassle!

For girls that prefer the longer scene hairstyles, you don’t necessarily have to keep it dead straight. Some girls would rather sport  layered curls, making it full of volume on the top of the head and thinner at the ends. For long-haired divas, straight or curly, remember to condition your hair regularly because the choppiness of the layering of this hairstyle can make your ends appear damaged or dry.

Long fringe or bangs complete the scene hair style look. Bangs are specifically side swept, choppy, sometimes shorter and always straight. If duo or multicolored hair is not your thing, decking it with a lovely hair accessory can be another alternative!

The essence of scene hair is its spontaneity!  Scene hair is definitely a hairstyle that allows girls a lot of room for experimentation and there is no correct or perfect scene hairstyle out there. Girls, work with the layers and the bangs, keep the top thick and don’t hesitate to try out a bright, daring new color!

5 How To Strategies For Thicker Hair

Here are the Insider Secrets on How to Get Thick Hair

Everyone wants a thick head of hair; the hard part lies in getting it. Genetics is often to blame for thin and wispy hair, but with so many tips and tricks out there it is easy to get fuller hair. Even if you have to fake it.

You can get thicker hair naturally . . . medical science has shown that consuming daily key vitamins, like the vitamin B family, can help your hair grow thicker. Because hair is essential made of proteins, eating healthy will allow those nutrients to be absorbed and be reflected in hair growth. If you cannot get those nutrients in, try taking a daily multivitamin to supplement. Prenatal pills can also help stimulate thicker hair growth. Of course, you’ll want to talk to your doctor first to see what the right dosage is for you.

Another way to get thicker hair is through care. Washing your hair daily is not necessary. In fact, many hair stylists recommend you skip a day to avoid stripping hair of key nutrients. However, you’ll find that skipping can leave your hair oily and lifeless. So on those days you skip wash, use a dry shampoo. Not only does it clean your hair and keep it fresh, it also adds volume and texture. All you need to do from there is run your fingers through it for a nice and tousled look.

When brushing your hair, opt for a round brush. Start at the roots and work your way out to the end. The shape of the brush creates even volume for your hair throughout. If you need to blow-dry your hair, try doing so with your head slightly upside down. The direction of the air forces your hair the other way so that when you stand back up, it still hold some of it up, creating a look of a thick hair style.

If all else fails, you can create an illusion of thicker hair. The best way to go about this is by creating volume. To do that, you should choose haircuts for thick hair, such as a haircut with long and multiple layers. Layers are perfect hairstyles for thick hair. This will allow you to curl or wave your hair so that it is not just one length and adds more dimensions to your overall style. If you have very thin hair, try to avoid straightening it.

Not everyone is blessed with naturally thick hair, but there are many ways to get it, even if you have to fake it. Just remember to eat balanced meals, take care of your hair, and choose styles for thick hair that create the most volume. Keep trying out new styles to find ones that work best on you.
